Ok I've seen some really impressive things on DA that were done with graphics tablets and heard alot about them.
So I figured I'd take the plunge and get one , I didn't want to drop a lot of coin because money is tight and if it turned out it wasn't my thing I wouldn't feel like I wasted a lot of cash.
This is the one I picked up:
[link]Not super high price and it seems to have gotten pretty good reviews.
When it arrived I set it up and immediately thought I had made a mistake in getting it.
I know I'm not gonna set the world on fire with my drawing but suddenly I was drawing like a two year old.
I felt totally alien and awkward to me , I put it aside disgusted, but after about a hour or so thought to go online and look for some tutorials. And found this one:
[link] which helped quite a bit, enough to help me regain my interest in learning how to work with the tablet.
So it is at this point that I'd like to ask those of you out there who use a graphics tablets if you have any helpful hints , tricks or tips. Or any tutorials that you know of that would be helpful.
Also any particular software you would recommend.
To any who respond thanx in advance for any info.
